an accountant by training who stumbled upon the world of fine wine and gourmet food, left the numbers and headed towards the spiritual side. i am currently involved in wine import, retail and wholesale (www.mackscellar.com). whilst in the wine trade, i graduated with my Wine & Spirits Education Trust UK Level 3 with distinction and am currently pursuing my Diploma of Wine. in my free time, i enjoy experimenting in wine & food pairing and very often my team and I get stares from the hawkers for bringing our own crystal glasses whilst enjoying good old hawker food along the road side…

I also occasionally write food, wine & travel articles for magazines, and have written for Torque and Flavours. I currently have a monthly wine column in New Man magazine.
